Personnel Profile

EXPLORER UNDERWATER SERVICES, INCORPORATED (EUSI) has implemented its own system of classifying its employees. Diving and Technical staff will be allocated an Employment Level Code (ELC) based on their qualifications and experience. EUSI hires technical personnel with a minimum experience on SCUBA, Surface-Demand System and underwater video and photography The Company then evaluates the personnel and assigns an ELC. Personnel are then trained on additional techniques before he or she can be given a higher ELC.

CODE LEVEL

Competency of technical personnel to carry out various activities is indicated as follows:

Level 1 - Knowledge of ship construction, underwater structures and appendages, hull works and knowledge of marine terminology in English.

Level 2 - Capable of taking pintel and tail shaft readings.

Level 3 - Television, still & digital camera operation.

Level 4 - Ultrasonic non-destructive test experience.

Level 5 - Welding inspection in accordance with C.S.W.I.P. standards

Level 6 - Hull cleaning with special equipment.

Level 7 - Propeller polishing with special equipment in accordance with the Rubert scale standard.

Level 8 - Welding and Cutting

Level 9 - Magnetic Particle inspection.
